Book condition: Mint, limited edition and numbered, 400 x 295 mm, 30 original woodblock prints and four - line block reproduction prints, tissue guarded, one of 150 block numbered sets, laid loose as issued in a cloth-covered Solander Box with a print of "The Barmaid"laid down on the front with spine label. The original woodblocks from which this edition was printed are owned by William Heinemann Ltd. and stored in the V. & A. Museum. The collection includes prints of unused versions published here for the first time, together with William Nicholson's "An Almanac of Twelve Sports [and] London types"; an introduction book to the reprint from the original woodblocks by Edward Craig, and signed by Edward Craig on the colophon. |
